»The Rempis Percussion Quartet just returned from a two week tour in Poland, Romania, Austria, Belgium, and Germany.  Check out some new photos, youtube clips, etc. from the trip on our groups page.

»Ballister finished a North American Tour the first week of April, supporting our brand new release on  Clean Feed titled “Mechanisms.”  Many thanks to the great audiences who we played for in Chicago, Detroit, Buffalo, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Montreal, and Toronto.

»Over the winter, I finished mixing and mastering a new cd by The Engines featuring legendary reedist John Tchicai.  That cd is scheduled for release on Not Two in early 2013.  Also finished mixing a new cd by Wheelhouse (with Nate McBride, and Jason Adasiewicz) for Multi Kulti, recorded a new duo cd with Frank Rosaly, and did a session with Pandelis Karayorgis and his new quintet for Hat Art.

»The Ingebrigt Håker Flaten Sextet has a forthcoming live EP from our Saalfelden Festival performance in Austria last summer.  Check out a preview here.  Since our days as a quintet, the band has added Jason Adasiewicz on vibes to round out an already stellar lineup with Ingebrigt, Jeff Parker, Frank Rosaly, Ola Kvernberg and myself.
