European Solo Tour

I just got back last week from a few weeks in Europe, travelling around by myself, and playing with different musicians in Amsterdam, Berlin, and Vienna, as well as two solo concerts in Poznan and Warsaw, Poland. It was an incredible experience on many levels….

»The newest Rempis Percussion Quartet cd “Montreal Parade” has been named the #2 jazz release for 2011 in Magnet Magazine, and made the top records of the year on Guy Peters website Goddeau.com!! This is the first cd featuring Ingebrigt Håker Flaten on bass. Check out some reviews in the Chicago Reader, TimeOut Chicago, AllAboutJazz and for good measure, AllAboutJazz again! The band will be back out on the road in Europe in April of 2012.
»Check out some recordings of a new-ish trio with bassist Devin Hoff and drummer Mike Reed here. These were recorded in the studio in June of this year.
»Currently working on releases with Wheelhouse (with Nate McBride, and Jason Adasiewicz), and The Engines with John Tchicai. Also just finished recording a new duo cd with Frank Rosaly in January.
